Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
NGS sample preparation
Next generation sequencing is a high throughput technique used to sequence millions of DNA or RNA fragments in parallel, allowing the study of genetic variations. Library preparation is the first step in the NGS workflow; transforming sample DNA into similarly-sized nucleic acid fragments and attaching adapter sequences ready to be read by sequencing instruments. INTEGRA’s ASSIST PLUS pipetting robot – in combination with the D-ONE single channel pipetting module and VOYAGER adjustable tip spacing pipettes – can be used to quickly and effectively automate sample normalization and library preparation, minimizing the risk of errors to enable accurate and reproducible production of robust, high quality libraries.
